本节课主要复习动词过去式的构成和一般过去时句式的运用。基本教学思路:先复习动词的过去式的构成;接着通过选择填空的形式来复习动词现在式与过去式的不同用法;再通过连词成句和看图说话来复习一般过去时的基本句式;然后通过把一篇用现在时写的故事改为用过去时叙述这个拓展性的练习来进一步巩固本节的重点——一般过去时的运用;最后让学生当堂完成一份书面练习和玩一个“Hanged man”的猜词句游戏来检测学生的掌握情况。由于教学思路清晰,重点明确,再加上适当地运用了多媒体教学手段(PowerPoint课件),既有效地调动了学生的学习积极性,而且大大提高了课堂教学效率,从学生当堂完成并讲评完的书面练习的反馈情况来看,绝大多数的学生已基本掌握了常用动词过去式的构成特点和一般过去时的基本用法,达到了预想的教学效果。

但在有些教学环节的设计和实施中,也存在着一些问题,例如看图说话这个环节由于教师没有给予适当的示范和有效的指导,以致大多数学生无法就一幅图说出多个句子来,部分中、下层学生甚至连每图说一句话也觉困难;还有最后一个猜词句的游戏环节,本应对调动学生的学习兴趣和复习巩固一般过去时的用法有较大作用的,但因为学生普遍因为担心猜不对被扣本小组的游戏分而不够大胆猜想和回答,导致效率不高;更有部分学生因为过于关心游戏的得分情况而无心思考甚至为此而互相争吵,从而扰乱了正常的课堂秩序,影响了教学效果,以后在设计和实施游戏类教学步骤时应特别注意对课堂秩序的掌控。
